About Redgum

Redgum Medical Group is a regional general practice operating across three clinics in Corowa, Rutherglen, and Howlong, on both sides of the NSW-Victoria border. We’re a mixed-billing practice built on continuity of care and adequate consult times rather than appointment volume.

Our doctors work across a broader scope than most metro practices. Alongside everyday general practice, the team offers:

  • GP obstetrician-led and midwife-led antenatal clinics
  • Skin cancer surveillance, including Fotofinder full-body mole mapping
  • Palliative care
  • Diabetes education across two locations
  • Mental health support in partnership with Grand Pacific Health
  • Allied health: dietetics, podiatry, and visiting audiology
  • On-site echocardiography (fully bulk billed) through Victorian Echo
  • Pathology collection on-site through Australian Clinical Labs

The clinical work is supported by a registered nursing team handling CDM, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, minor procedures, and triage, with administration, operations, and clinical management support across the practice.

Senior GPs in the practice have tenures of 20 to 30 years, and registrars are well-supported with structured supervision and teaching.

This is an excellent opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our community focused General practice and work within our supportive medical team. This is the only practice in the tourist township of Rutherglen, and provides care to the co located 40 bed nursing home. It has 3 generously sized consulting rooms, and a large bright procedure room.
