Dr. Daniel Mealey

What do you enjoy most about being a Doctor?

What I enjoy most about being a doctor is the chance to really connect with people and support them through all stages of their health journey. For me, it’s not just about treating a condition, but about understanding the whole person — their physical health, their emotional well-being, and what matters most in their life.

I feel privileged to be trusted with people’s stories and to walk alongside them, whether that’s helping someone through a tough time, supporting veterans and vulnerable communities, or encouraging healthier choices for the future. Those human connections, and the ability to make a real difference in someone’s life, are what make this work so meaningful to me.

When did you join the practice?

I joined the Redgum Medical Group in 2025

Outside of work, I’m a bit of an adventurer — I love mountain climbing, long hikes, and white-water rafting. I’m also passionate about staying active and challenging myself, which I think helps me bring energy and resilience into my work. I really enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and just embracing life’s adventures whenever I can.
